Michael Gignac

VICE PRESIDENT, FINANCE
Mr. Michael Gignac has been the company’s financial leader since its inception, becoming Vice-President of Finance in January 2020. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University, a major in accounting and a minor in finance, and a Graduate Diploma in Public Accountancy. Responsibilities include all financial aspects of the business, including finance, treasury, tax, financial and management reporting, internal controls, business operations, and IT.
Mr. Gignac is also responsible for the accounting and financial deliverables of certain company mandates. He has played an important role in establishing ERPs, reporting and monitoring procedures at various mines and projects in North and South America (Canadian Malartic Mine, Merian Project, Fruta del Norte Project). He is a member of the Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés du Québec (CPA). Mr. Gignac speaks English, French and Spanish.
