The Tocantinzinho mine is a gold mine located in the state of Pará, Brazil, 200 km southwest of the city of Itaituba, 108 km from the district of Morais de Almeida, and 1,150 km southwest of Belém, capital of the state of Pará. The Tocantinzinho deposit is better classified as a granite-hosted gold intrusion system (IRGS). In August 2024, G Mining Ventures Corp. (GMIN) announced receipt of the remaining operating licences required for commercial production. Less than a month later, the company reported commercial production in Tocantinzinho, achieving this milestone on time and on budget and within two years of construction start. GMIN commissioned G Mining Services Inc. and SRK Consulting Canada Inc. as lead consultants, along with other engineering consultants, to prepare an updated feasibility study under the supervision of the QPs for the Tocantinzinho gold project.
