The Kay Mine Project, 100% owned by Arizona Metals Corp., is in Yavapai County, Arizona, approximately 45 miles north of Phoenix. This volcanogenic massive sulfide (VMS) deposit has a rich history, with initial discoveries dating back to the early 1900s. In 1982, Exxon Minerals estimated a "proven and probable reserve" of 6.4 million short tons, grading 2.2% copper, 2.8 g/t gold, 3.0% zinc, and 55 g/t silver. A drilling campaign is currently underway, and promising results are being achieved. GMS has been mandated to provide overall project support coordination for the PEA study.
