Supplier Relations Coordinator

Summary of Responsibilities

Reporting functionally to the Chief of Procurement based in Canada, the Supplier Relations Coordinator will support G Mining Services procurement and supply chain operations by identifying, evaluating, and managing suppliers within Greece. This role is critical in ensuring responsible sourcing, strong vendor relationships, and seamless coordination between local stakeholders. The successful candidate will act as a key liaison between local vendors and the supply chain team, contributing to efficient, ethical, and compliant procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and validate local (Greece-based) suppliers in alignment with project and corporate requirements.
• Conduct supplier due diligence, including capability assessments, compliance checks, and risk assessments.
• Manage vendor onboarding processes, including obtaining contact information and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) execution.
• Schedule and lead vendor meetings and site visits as required.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliability, performance, and long-term collaboration.
• Support contract negotiations in coordination with procurement and legal teams.
• Participate in project meetings to align supply chain activities with project timelines and requirements.
• Act as a local liaison between vendors and internal teams.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, ethical sourcing standards, and applicable local regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, project management, and legal.
• Evaluate suppliers for ethical practices such as labor conditions, health & safety, environmental impact, and anti-corruption policies.
• Support supplier audits to ensure alignment with G Mining Services’ standards and best practices.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks related to sustainability and regulatory requirements.
• Encourage local sourcing strategies that support community development and reduce environmental footprint where feasible.

Requirements

• 3–7 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain operations.
• Strong knowledge of the local Greek market and supplier landscape.
• Experience with vendor qualification, contract support and stakeholder coordination.
• Familiarity with responsible sourcing standards and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Fluency in English and Greek (required).
• Willingness to travel locally.
• Experience working in an international or multicultural environment an asset.
