Senior Electrical Engineer
Summary of Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Electrical Engineering Manager, based in Canada, the Electrical Engineer will be part of the team dedicated to the design and development of mining projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed engineering documentation for medium and low voltage systems.
- Prepare cost estimates and project schedules.
- Coordinate third party contractor and engineering for site electrical distribution.
- Prepare design specifications for electrical systems.
- Monitor installation, testing, and operation of electrical systems.
- Manage procurement contracts for electrical equipment.
- Develop maintenance and operation specifications.
- Knowledge of short-circuit, coordination, and arc flash studies is an asset.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience.
- Member in good standing of the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE) and habilitated to apply professional stamp on drawings and reports.
- Strong knowledge of Greek engineering standards.
- Experience in construction, engineering, mining, or similar project-based environments is highly desirable.
- Experience working in an international or multicultural environment.
- Fluency in Greek and English is required (written and spoken).
