As part of its international expansion, G Mining Services is establishing a presence in Greece to support its client Eldorado Gold and its subsidiary Hellas Gold, as well as to contribute to global mining projects.

Human Resources & Administration Manager
Summary of Responsibilities
Reporting functionally to the Corporate HR team and operationally to senior leadership, the Human Resources & Administration Manager will play a critical role in establishing and developing G Mining Services’ operations in Greece.
This position combines strategic HR leadership and hands-on operational responsibilities. The incumbent will be responsible for setting up the company’s local presence, ensuring compliance with Greek labor laws, tax laws and regulations, supporting recruitment and team development, and managing administrative functions. The role is expected to evolve over time as the organization grows.
Key Responsibilities
Country Setup & Corporate Representation
- Lead the establishment of G Mining Services’ operations in Greece, including administrative, legal, fiscal and organizational setup.
- Act as the main point of contact for local stakeholders, including authorities, partners, and clients when required.
- Support the opening and management of the Athens office.
- Ensure alignment with corporate standards while adapting practices to the Greek environment.
HR Strategy & Talent Acquisition
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to support project and corporate workforce needs.
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for key roles in Greece.
- Build and structure the local workforce in alignment with operational requirements.
- Collaborate with global teams to support international staffing and mobility.
Compliance & Labour Relations
- Ensure full compliance with Greek labour laws, employment standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement local HR policies and procedures aligned with corporate guidelines.
- Manage employee relations and provide guidance to managers on HR matters.
- Monitor legislative changes and ensure ongoing compliance.
Employee Experience & HR Operations
- Oversee onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle processes.
- Promote a positive and inclusive work environment aligned with G Mining’s values.
- Support performance management, employee engagement, and retention initiatives.
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees.
Administration & Office Management
- Manage administrative functions related to office operations, suppliers, and local services.
- Coordinate with external providers (legal, payroll, accounting, etc.). Support budgeting and cost control related to HR and administrative activities.
Compliance with Tax Laws
- Work with external accounting firm to ensure compliance with Greece tax laws.
Global Collaboration & Project Support
- Contribute to G Mining projects in Greece by supporting workforce planning and HR needs.
- Participate in international HR initiatives and projects as required.
- Support the deployment of global HR programs at the local level.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in human resources and/or administration, including leadership responsibilities.
- Proven experience in setting up operations, entities, or offices in a new country or environment is a strong asset.
- Strong knowledge of Greek labour laws and employment practices.
- Experience in construction, engineering, mining, or similar project-based environments is highly desirable.
- Experience working in an international or multicultural environment.
- Fluency in Greek and English is required (written and spoken).
