CORE Project Coordinator
Under the supervision of the CORE (Construction Readiness) Director, the incumbent will participate in the supervision and management of major mining and construction projects, from inception to completion. More specifically, the Project Coordinator will be called upon to:
- Actively participate in technical and economic feasibility studies for mining projects.
- Coordinate with estimators, engineers, and planners to identify and estimate indirect costs (temporary facilities, logistics, support staff, HSE, IT infrastructure, etc.).
- Provide technical input in the preparation of construction scenarios for the various options studied.
- Support the integration of construction requirements into the project's economic model.
- Develop and maintain the construction preparation and project execution plan in collaboration with the project teams.
- Participate in the development of the project schedule in collaboration with the discipline leaders.
- Review contractor bids and ensure that they are compliant and free of apparent omissions.
- Ensure that all project activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as company policies.
- Conduct technical engineering reviews and ensure constructability.
- Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) specific to construction.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (mining, civil, mechanical, electrical, or equivalent) or certified technician (related technical discipline).
- Project management certification (PMP) is an asset.
- Between three (3) and five (5) years of relevant experience in the mining, construction, or heavy industry sectors.
- Be able to communicate in French and/or English.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale construction or mining projects.
- Ability to use project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD).
- Extensive field experience, particularly on construction sites.

Additional information
- The position will be based at the GÂ Mining Services office in Brossard.
- Possibility of hybrid work (office and remote).
- Occasional travel abroad and within Canada.
